FRONT END DEVELOPER
Primary Responsibilities:
Architect and develop the omgpop social platform and website.
Required Skills:
3+ years of solid software development experience.
Expertise in Flash Development: Action script, CPU/Memory optimization, JavaScript/Flash bridging, Cross-browser compatability.
Design and game development experience.
Front end experience for consumer website.
Experience with product development relating to social media, advertising and commerce driven businesses.
Deep understanding of consumer behavior and what drives usage, acquisition and retention of users.
Start-up experience (not just agency experience).

GAME DEVELOPER
Primary Responsibilities:
Development of new social games and related features.
Contribute to the evolvement of existing games.
Required Skills:
Strong programming knowledge across several languages and platforms including ActionScript 3, Java and/or C++.
Solid understanding of algorithms, physics and math.
A natural feeling for and understanding of good gameplay mechanics.
A desire to make games which privilege being played and popular over being cool or indie. And games that are fundamentally social.
Ability to work on games that other developers have started and jump-in.
Flash/AS3 knowledge is a plus.
Facebook game experience is a plus.

PRODUCT MANAGER
Primary Responsibilities:
Own product features from start to finish and manage process to complete them.
Drive growth through deployment of features.
Determine and analyze key success metrics, and rigorously test and optimize for them.
Required Skills:
2-5 years of experience in product management in consumer internet, social media or online gaming.
Ability to self start as well as deliver timely performance from others and work in a free form environment.
Obsessed with details.
Must have proven experience in contributing to a successful project or product in the past.
Experience with multivariate testing.
Understanding of market opportunities and how to position products in regards to consumer needs and competition.
Experience with a web based company managing web based applications.
Passion for creating fun, compelling and addictive user experiences.
Strong organizational and analytical skills & attention to detail.
Experience with social networking, games, start ups is a big plus.

ILLUSTRATOR
OMGPOP is looking for an illustrator to join our growing team.
Responsibilities:
The illustrator be working with the Art Director and Producer, creating art assets for items in the site, as well as art inside games. This position will also work with web and marketing teams to create game-related artwork. We are looking for a design style similar to toki doki, kid robot, etc.
Required Skills:
Quick sketching and storyboarding experience
Ability to communicate visually, and to identify and define visual design issues and solutions
Excellent design skills, including the effective use of color, form, lighting and composition
Well-organized.
A passion for games, and social networking
Experience in the game industry a plus
Excellent Illustrator skills (CS3/4)
Experience in Flash to manage assets

BACKEND RUBY DEVELOPER
We’re looking for a key backend ruby developer to round out our team!

Has 3+ years ruby experience.
Has 5+ years experience developing scalable high trafficed web applications.
Uses Agile, BDD/TDD and other best practices.
Has experience architecting and implementing RESTful APIs.
