When you click on someones photo, you get the option to Mute. Now when you mute them, instead of just blocking what they say, it completely removes them from being visible in chat.
Someone being annoying? Make them disappear from chat with Mute. They won’t know (Unless you tell em’ of course!).

You can now own your chatroom! Add moderators, kick and ban rude folks. You’re in control. Being level 5 is required as usual. But there’s lots of stuff you need to know, so read on.
But first, make sure you keep following all our rules, you have to follow them in your own room as well. That means being nice and respecting others. Cool. Now lets get to the good stuff.
To own a room, just create a new one. If you join a room that already has an owner, they can make you a moderator, or an owner.
OWNERS - Owners can assign or remove fellow owners (this is dangerous). Owners can also assign new moderators. They have access to kicking and banning too of course.
MODERATORS - Moderators can kick and ban regular users in their chat room. They can’t remove other moderators or owners of course.
As an Owner or Moderator, you get options that appear when you click on someone:
KICK - Kicking a person removes them from the chat room until they come back in. This serves as a good warning to someone misbehaving. They can come back in instantly.
BAN - When you ban someone from your room, they are banned forever. At least for now. BAN only as a last resort, you won’t be able to undo it.
Add/Remove Owner- Owners can make and remove other owners. WARNING: Be VERY careful who you give Ownership to. Even if you’re the first Owner, another Owner can REMOVE you from your own room! So it’s best to make others Moderators, unless you COMPLETELY trust them. Don’t say I didn’t warn you.
Add/Remove Moderator- Owners can assign new Moderators to help keep their room pleasant. Moderators can only kick and ban. They can’t make new moderators or do anything to owners. Choose them wisely!
And there you go, we’ll update this post with other popular questions as we go. Keep in mind OMGPOP Crew members can override all the chat room powers above, so please be sure to follow the rules and avoid abusing your new leet powers.
Oh yeah, if you find any exploits, report them to us on our feedback page. Abusing any exploits will get you deleted (as usual, lol). So thanks for your help!
